I qualified as a Bowen Therapist in April 2008, after completing my training with ECBS (The European College of Bowen Studies). I am a member of BTPA (The Bowen Therapists Professional Associationand one of the first Bowen Therapists to be registered by the CNHC.

About Me

Health and wellbeing has always been my focus, but unlike many practitioners, I come from a formal medical, rather than holistic background. I qualified as a nurse in 1980 and have spent all my nursing career working as an operating theatre nurse.

I trained at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London and prior to moving out of London, was a theatre sister at The Portland Hospital and Wellington Hospital.

After a break for children (and studying with the Open University), I have continued to work part time as a theatre nurse in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

I love nursing and theatre work, but am also convinced that there is a place for alternative therapies in relieving symptoms and aiding recovery. With The Bowen Technique, I have found a therapy which meets – and exceeds – those criteria. Sometimes medical intervention is necessary and unavoidable, but even then Bowen’s holistic and remedial benefits can work hand in hand with medical treatment, dramatically reducing pain and speeding recuperation.

I treat men, women and children of all ages, for sports injuries and for non specific chronic or acute conditions. You’ll find me kind, caring, discreet, attentive and knowledgeable, but above all you will find me professional.
